Why we exist
North 24th and South 24th Streets have long been home to some of the most vibrant economic corridors for Black and Latino residents in the region. That history is still here — in the culture, the businesses, the families, and the people continuing to build.
Decades of segregation and disinvestment did real harm, and we still feel it. But no neighborhood is defined by what was done to it. The talent, businesses, and ideas are already here. We invest in the entrepreneurs, professionals, and leaders building on that legacy, so the next chapter of North and South 24th Street is written by the people who live it.
Who we are
We're a community and economic development organization built by and for people of the global majority. We're headquartered in North Omaha and work across the city, partnering with neighbors, business owners, and nonprofits to build economic stability and generational wealth right in our own backyards.
